2009 SASOHN National Conference
The South African Society of Occupational Health Nursing Practitioners (SASOHN) has been actively improving and protecting the health of millions of workers in this country for more than 25 years. The members of this professional society are Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners who provide such a service to our working community.
Each year, SASOHN hosts an annual conference, to which all the members and other professionals affiliated to Occupational Health, are invited. The aim of the conference is not only to give these professional the opportunity to network, but also to update them with the latest developments in Occupational Health that will help SASOHN achieve two of their ultimate goals, and that is, to prevent occupational disease, and continually improve the quality of service provided to the South African workforce.
SASOHN Eastern Cape Region will be hosting the National SASOHN Conference on the 4th, 5th and 6th November 2009 at The Boardwalk Casino, Port Elizabeth. Delegates from all over South Africa attend; they are Occupational Health Nurse Practitioners, Safety Practitioners, affiliated heath professionals, as well as some Human Resource Practitioners. We are expecting approximately 200 - 300 delegates. We would like to make this a successful and a memorable conference, but are unable to do this without your support in the form of sponsorship.
There are a number of sponsorship options available, which are outlined below. Sponsorship can be in the form of a small item with your Company logo that will be placed in all the delegate’s conference bags, to being the Title Sponsor of the Conference. All sponsors will be acknowledged at the various functions that they sponsor. Should you wish to be the Title Sponsor, the conference will be named after your Company, and all promotion material, i.e. flyers, printed material, certificates, etc., will include your Company name and logo.

1 conference bag per delegate (+/- 300) bearing your Company logo / branding. You will be responsible for sourcing the bags and arranging printing, etc. |

We realise that Companies like yourself need to budget for these functions well in advance, and it is for that reason that although the conference is only in November 2009, we have submitted our proposal to you now. Should you be interested in any of the sponsorship options, please confirm with any of the 3 SASOHN Members listed on the top of this letterhead as soon as possible to secure your sponsorship. We would also like to request that you complete the attached sponsorship / Exhibitor’s Form, and email or fax it to Michelle Brown as soon as possible. The Exhibit Area is highly valued and delegates enjoy more time to visit the tables. Exhibitors may set up tables so they can be visited by delegates who begin registration from 15h00 from the afternoon of the 4th, through to after tea on the morning of the 6th November 2009. Exhibitors Stands are available at a cost of R2500 each, and a space of +/- 2m x 3m will be allocated to each exhibitor.
